Rhine River Cruise–Amsterdam

The ship arrived in Amsterdam sometime around midnight and the last day was just disembarking.

It occurred to me that I had never taken any photos of the interior of the ship, so Sunday morning breakfast was my last chance.

We had planned this trip so that we could attend church on Sunday morning at the English Reformed Church in Amsterdam. We were able to leave our bags on board and return for them about 1:30 in the afternoon.

We also stopped in to De Nieuwe Kerk – the “new church”, which is now a museum.

The day finished with a short train journey to Schiphol airport to pick up our rental car, then a drive north to De Rijp where we have an apartment for the next two weeks.
